Year In Review

Christmas is around the corner which means it’s almost a wrap on 2024! And what a year it has been!

I’m not sure any of us would have imagined what would be happening in the world as we enter 2025, but we are certainly not short of surprises.

What is of no surprise, however, is the amount Home From Home has achieved over this past year – we definitely had a busy time! Due to our hardworking team we have managed to accomplish a lot across our sites. As well as the continual maintenance of all the grounds and buildings, highlights from 2024 include:

– The complete makeover of Unicorn House, which has been transformed from a tired looking building to a modern and fresh one inside and out.

– Major tree reduction at St George’s Court

– We entered and ran the Ipswich Twilight 10k, all in aid of Selig. We love the work they are doing for our community so plan on continuing to support them.

– We successfully secured government funding for the metal cladding at Ipaxis, Ipswich and installation is in the pipeline.

– Landscaping work at Segger View

– Roof replacement and repairs across our Duke Street development

– We took on new developments including, Highwood Manor and a block on Princes Street, both located in Ipswich.
