Home From Home took part in the Ipswich Twilight 10k on Friday 18 July. It was a great event with an incredible atmosphere and a record number of people running. Our staff all arrived at the finish line with big smiles on their faces and were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the crowd welcoming runners home.

At Home From Home, Community and good quality housing is very much at the centre of our hearts which is why we were delighted to be running in aid of the local homeless charity, ‘Selig’.

Selig has set up, ‘Selig Suffolk Springboard’ which provides affordable, high quality, self catering, supported accommodation for adults who would otherwise be homeless. Unlike other homeless charities, they offer personalised help for each individual, teaching them the skills they need in order to find new work and have a fresh start in life. We very much admire this charities positivity and proactiveness as well as the hard work they put into making a difference for every person that comes their way.

We are therefore delighted to be presenting them with a cheque towards all their efforts.

There is no better charity we could be supporting for the community of our town and we look forward to more opportunities in the future to collaborate.
